At Zapmonc, operated by Apes N Monkeys Innovations Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, process, use, and share your information when you visit our website, use our SaaS platform, or interact with our NFC hardware.

This policy is designed to comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India), the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023, and incorporates high-standard principles of global data protection for our international users. 

1. THE DATA WE COLLECT

We collect various categories of information to provide a seamless digital networking experience. This is categorized as follows:

1.1 Identity and Contact Data

This includes your full name, email address, phone number, professional title, company name, and social

media handles that you explicitly choose to display on your Zapmonc vCard.

1.2 Technical and Device Data

For the purpose of providing analytics (stats) to our users, we collect Device Identifiers. This includes IP

addresses, browser types, operating system versions, and unique device fingerprints. This data allows us

to tell you how many unique people viewed your card without identifying the individual visitor personally.

1.3 Transactional and Financial Data

We do not store credit card numbers on our servers. All payments are processed through PCI-DSS

compliant third-party gateways (Stripe and Razorpay). We receive confirmation of payment, transaction

IDs, and billing addresses for invoicing purposes.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We process your data based on contractual necessity, legitimate business interests, and legal compliance: Service Delivery: To generate and host your digital vCard and link it to your physical NFC hardware.

Analytics: To provide you with insights into your networking performance (e.g., tap counts, geographical regions of taps).

Security: To monitor for offensive content and prevent fraudulent use of the platform.

Communications: To send system updates, renewal notices, and customer support responses.

3. THIRD-PARTY DATA PROCESSORS (SUB-PROCESSORS)

To provide high-quality service, we share specific data with vetted third-party providers:

Provider - Purpose - Data Shared

AWS (Amazon Web Services) - Cloud Hosting & Storage - All encrypted user data and vCard assets.

Google Analytics - Traffic Analysis - Anonymized usage patterns and device info.

Stripe / Razorpay - Payment Processing - Billing info, contact details, payment tokens.

CRM Integrations - Lead Management - Contact data (if enabled by the user).

4. DATA RETENTION AND LIFECYCLE

We maintain a strict data lifecycle policy to ensure we do not hold information longer than necessary. The 3-Year Reset Rule: To maintain platform efficiency and privacy, we retain active account data as long as the subscription is valid. However, for inactive accounts or metadata logs, we perform a full system purge/reset every 3 years. This means that if an account has been dormant for 36 months, all associated personal identifiers and logs are permanently erased from our production databases.

5. DATA SECURITY MEASURES

We implement enterprise-grade security including:

• AES-256 Encryption: For sensitive data at rest.
• SSL/TLS Encryption: For all data in transit between your device and our servers.
• Regular Monitoring: As part of our commitment to "rigorous monitoring," we use automated tools to flag offensive or malicious content on vCards to ensure the platform remains safe for all users.

6. YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS Under Indian and international laws, you have the following rights:

6.1 Right to Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

6.2 Right to Correction: You can update your profile at any time through the Zapmonc dashboard.

6.3 Right to Erasure: You may request the deletion of your account. Note that physical NFC cards already printed will continue to point to a "Deactivated" page once the digital data is erased.

7. COOKIES AND TRACKING

We use essential cookies for account session management and performance cookies for analytics. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings, though some features of the SaaS dashboard may become unavailable.
